Yuen is the founding partner and Managing Director of RareRock Group, based in Malaysia. He is overseeing the investment desk and working closely with investment specialists based across the region to lead management of the fund and investment strategies.

 

He is well-versed in various aspects of investment and finance, having worked in securities firms and financial institutions not limited to Malacca Securities, AmInvestment Bank etc. brought with him over 15 years of experience in stock brokerage, investing and financial planning in Malaysia and beyond. With a wide-ranging exposure to finance, he has been able to customise structured solutions to meet specific investment objectives for retail and institutional clients. He also responsible for the delivery of finance services such as financial planning and report, cash management and treasury functions, accounting, audit and tax in accordance with legislative requirements and organisation policies and strategies. Yuen receives a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2001.

Kamal is the former CEO of iPivot Sdn Bhd, a licensed ECF in Malaysia. He started his 24-year career in the Corporate Recovery / Insolvency practice before moving to Investment Banking where he was mainly involved in IPO for the ACE and Main Board. Later, he began his 13-year journey in few VC and Private Equity firms.

 

He played significant role in different stages within the investment cycle from origination to exit, with an estimated investment size concluded around RM300M in Malaysia and SEA markets. Later, he headed to the corporate world and served as Head of Corporate Finance in public listed companies for 4 years where he was involved in loan restructuring, SUKUK issuance of up to RM700M, fund raising via corporate loan up to RM500M.

 

Kamal obtained his degree in Bachelor of Finance Administration (1st Class) from University of New England (1998). He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from Securities Institute of Australia in collaboration with PNB Investment Institute in 2004.

A lovely and caring person who is perhaps best-known for her social learning and psychology theory, Jocelyn has a decade-long role leading People teams for few conglomerates in Malaysia across sectors including manufacturing, property and construction, finance, education etc. MBF, Southern Steel Berhad, Sri Hartamas Berhad, just to name a few. Her works were to help companies to connect, develop and care for their employees — to help those employees do the best work of their lives.

 

Under Jocelyn’s administration, her teams managed a spectrum of People management.  Prior to Tune Protect’s senior managerial role, Jocelyn was the Director of Human Resource in Nexus Karambunai Golf Resort and played a key role in HR function and policy development. Jocelyn worked for a few renowned large corporations such as AXA AFFIN Life Insurance, and HSBC Amanah Takaful, from 1999 to 2012 in a number of regional operations and sales roles.

 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from National Taiwan University as well as CFP (FPAM), fChFP (APLIC) and RFP (MFPC).
